Account and data deletion

Last updated October 14, 2026.

You can delete your Usermon account and data yourself at any time, without contacting us. This page explains how, what is removed, and how long it takes. It also covers people who use apps built with the Usermon SDKs.

Delete your account

  1. Sign in and open Settings → Account.
  2. In the Danger zone, enter your password, type DELETE, and choose Delete my account.

Forgot your password? Use Forgot password on the sign-in page to reset it first. If you cannot access your email address, write to support@seridian.dev from any address and we will verify ownership before deleting the account.

What happens to your organizations

  • Organizations where you are the only member are deleted along with your account, and their subscription is canceled immediately.
  • If you are the only owner of an organization that has other members, transfer ownership on the Members page (or delete the organization) before deleting your account.
  • Organizations you belong to as a member or co-owner keep running; you are removed.

Owners can also delete a whole organization from Settings → Account (password required), or a single project from the project's Setup page.

What is deleted, and when

  • Immediately: your login, password, profile, and all active sessions. For deleted organizations and projects, ingest keys, agents, API tokens, and scheduled tasks stop working at once.
  • Within hours: all project data (sessions, RUM events, API spans, logs, issues, session replays and their stored recordings, dashboards, alerts, agent metrics, and job history) and organization records (members, invites, integrations, AI keys, and usage counters) are permanently erased by a background job.
  • Kept by law: Stripe retains invoices and payment records that we are required to keep for tax and accounting. We never store full card numbers.

If a subscription ends without the organization being deleted, its data is kept for 120 days so you can resubscribe, then deleted automatically.

People using apps that include the Usermon SDK

Companies use Usermon to monitor their own websites, mobile apps, and servers. If you use one of those apps, that company decides what is collected and is responsible for your data. Contact the app's developer to make a request; Usermon processes the data on their behalf.

Regardless of any request, telemetry is deleted automatically:

  • Performance data, logs, errors, and traces: after 30 days.
  • Session replay recordings: after 5 days. Form inputs are masked by default.

For developers: app store privacy answers

If your app sends telemetry to Usermon (the browser or server SDKs, or the ingest API from Android and iOS), use this section when completing the Google Play Data safety form or Apple App Privacy details. Adjust it if you send extra fields (for example user IDs in log attributes).

  • Data collected by default: crash logs and diagnostics, performance data (timings, API call durations and status codes), app interactions (screen or page views), device or browser type and OS version, approximate country, and IP address. Sessions use a random identifier that is not linked to a person.
  • Purpose: app functionality and analytics (performance monitoring and debugging). Not used for advertising or tracking, and not sold or shared with third parties.
  • Encryption: all data is sent over HTTPS.
  • Deletion: data is deleted automatically after 30 days (replays after 5 days). To erase everything immediately, delete the project in Usermon. You may link to this page as your data deletion resource.
