Privacy summary

Last updated October 14, 2026.

Usermon is a monitoring product for application performance. This page summarizes what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to delete it.

What we collect

  • Account details you provide: name, email, and password (stored hashed).
  • Organization, project, member, invite, and integration settings you configure. AI provider keys, Git tokens, and Slack webhooks are stored encrypted.
  • Billing details handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and plan status, never card numbers.
  • Telemetry your apps and servers send with ingest keys or the Usermon agent: sessions, RUM events, API spans, logs, exceptions, session replays, and host metrics. This can include IP address, user agent, device OS, and approximate country.
  • Monthly event counts per organization, used to bill usage.

How we use it

We use this data to authenticate you, power dashboards, evaluate alerts, bill your subscription through Stripe, and send transactional email such as password resets. We do not sell personal information or use telemetry for advertising.

Our processors are Convex (database and hosting of the backend), Netlify (web hosting), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email). If you connect an AI provider, issue details are sent to that provider with your key only when you request an AI feature.

Retention

Monitoring telemetry (sessions, RUM events, API spans, logs, exceptions, and rollups) is retained for 30 days, then deleted automatically. Session replay recordings and their stored chunks are retained for 5 days, then deleted automatically.

Account and organization records remain while your account is open. If a subscription ends, the organization's data is kept for 120 days so you can resubscribe, then deleted automatically.

Deleting your data

You can delete a project, an organization, or your whole account from the product at any time. Deletion revokes access immediately and erases the data within hours. See Account and data deletion for steps and app store guidance.
