Terms of Service

Last updated October 14, 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you (or the organization you represent) and Usermon for use of the Usermon website, portal, SDKs, agents, and APIs (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you can bind it to these terms.

Accounts

You must give accurate information, keep your password secure, and be at least 18. You are responsible for activity under your account, your organization's members, and any ingest keys, agent tokens, or API tokens you create. Tell us promptly at support@seridian.dev if you suspect unauthorized access.

Free trial

New organizations get a 7-day free trial. A payment card is required to start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and your card is charged the monthly fee. Usage during the trial is free. Each organization can use one trial.

Subscription and usage billing

  • The subscription costs $49 per month, billed in advance, and includes 1,000,000 ingested events per billing period.
  • Events beyond the included amount are billed in arrears at $10 per million events (prorated per event) on the next invoice. An event is any RUM event, API span, log entry, or exception the Service accepts from your apps, servers, or agents. Usage is shown on the Billing page.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices exclude taxes, which are added where required. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled.
  • You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; fees already paid are not refunded except where required by law.
  • If a payment fails we will retry. If it still fails, or the subscription ends, data collection pauses and ingest returns HTTP 402 until billing is resolved.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period after the notice.

Your data

You own the data you and your apps send to the Service (“Customer Data”). You give us permission to host, process, and display it only to provide and secure the Service. We handle it as described in our Privacy summary.

You are responsible for having the right to collect the telemetry you send, including telling your own users and obtaining any consent required by law. Do not send passwords, payment card data, health records, or other sensitive personal data in logs, attributes, or replays.

Telemetry is retained for 30 days and session replays for 5 days. You can delete projects, organizations, and your account at any time; see Account and data deletion.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights using the Service;
  • probe, scan, or test the Service's security without our written permission, or interfere with its operation;
  • use agents or remote actions to access systems you are not authorized to manage;
  • send malware, or use the Service to store content unrelated to monitoring;
  • resell the Service or share accounts to avoid fees.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules or put the Service at risk.

Agents and remote actions

The Usermon agent runs on machines you control. Remote script execution is off unless you enable it on the agent. You are responsible for the scripts and actions you run through the Service and their effects on your systems.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may add, change, or remove features; we will give reasonable notice before removing a feature you pay for.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Monitoring data may be sampled, delayed, or incomplete; do not rely on the Service as your only safeguard for critical systems.

To the extent the law allows, Usermon is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your access for material breach of these terms. When an organization's subscription ends, its data is kept for 120 days and then deleted.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account owners at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
